Do you know about TechnoLawyer?

TechnoLawyer is one badass company and as a legal professional, you should know about it. I had the fun and pleasure of working as an editor for Blawgworld for a couple of years and have high regard for the folks of TL. As for their work, not only is it one of the best resources for legal technology information, articles, white papers and product reviews but it is ALL FREE. You just have to "join" as most of their info is delivered by email or by logging into your personal portal.

They just released their VERY USEFUL Buyers Guide to Legal Billing Software. As we all know,  legal billing software is a necessity for all law firms. Their Buyer's Guide compares the 22 leading products (both cloud and classic), including their cost using a benchmark TL has created called the TL Research Price. The Buyer's Guide weighs in at nearly 7,500 words with seven charts, including one that lists how each product stacks up for entering time on the go from smartphones, the iPad, etc. Pretty useful I'd say!

So the deal is that only TechnoLawyer members can download a copy of the Buyer's Guide. I'm excited and honored that this blog is being featured in TechnoLawyer's BlawgWorld 2007 - which is being released today. Their e-book is a really cool compilation of legal blogs as well as a solution guide that I'm sure will help you time and time again. Check it out here: BlawgWorld 2007.

Microsoft's Internet Explorer Blog

Check out this post from Microsoft's Internet Safety Enforcement Attorney about their recent case (and conviction) against a phisher and their efforts in the fight against cybercrimes.

I'd like to thank the little people...

Whoa, wait a minute - that's no good - I am the little people. And I'm not just saying that because I'm 5'1" and weigh less than a buck. I'm saying that because some really amazing, popular and infuential bloggers were generous enough to help get the word out about my blog. SO, I'd like to thank The Academy (of Legal Bloggers)...

It all started when, Among Other Things Babes, crowned IHT a "Blawg of the Day." Look at that face. Helluva guy.

Then, out of the blue, old friend and, Marc Marling, posted some really nice words about me and my new project. He is such a good guy, a true Southern Gentlemen. How many of those do you know?

My first speaking engagement EVER was with ...can you imagine? No pressure there. Well, needless to say he was great to present with and has helped me time and time again since. Including being a blog pusher for years.

Were it not for the encouragement of this handsome gent, there would be no Heart in Tech.

Between you and me, I think he has a little crush on me.

toasted me on his blog and I thank him very much. Matt is one of the most spirited and interesting guys out there. If you ever get the chance, you should share a toast with him yourself.

Nobody will argue that this gent isn't one of the most admired and liked in the legal community.

Not everyone that has thrown me a bone is an old friend. These two California hunks took the time to send me a nice note about my efforts and then went on to mention IHT in their own respected and popular blogs.
